Male Mastery - 30-day Lifestyle Experiment
It is NOT a fitness programme. It is a lifestyle experiment to showcase what can be achieved in 30-days through conscious living. Having more control over your day to day decisions based on what your body needs, not what you think it wants.
Male Mastery - 30-day Lifestyle Experiment
This is as much of a social experiment as much as it is lifestyle. And for the record once again it's an experiment to show you what can realistically be achieved in 30-days of better decision making without living like a Buddhist monk. Whilst some of the new changes will require a degree of restraint and self-control to start with, it's also flexible enough for you to enjoy the things we all love such as socialising, good food and alcohol.
Absolutely nothing is off-limits as long as you abide by some simple house rules (7days a week)
Adhere to the 16/8 (IF) intermittent fasting protocol
Eat 2 main meals per day
Drink alcohol once a week making allowances for the additional calories
Fasted cardio 3-5 miles each morning
30-minute home/outdoor workout (no gym)
And that's it, for the best part.
Sure there are some caveats to mention but for the best part, that's it. Pretty simple isn't it. At least you'd think it was, wouldn't you? So why is it so many people fail to stick with an effective diet plan? For that exact reason - unrealistic and non-flexible plans are made to be broken. Its primary focus is on what you "can't" have and not what you can.
It isn’t about how much weight you can lose, or how much pain you can endure, far from it. It’s simply to demonstrate how much can be achieved by simply adhering to a few basic lifestyle changes, that’s fuelled by a passion to improve your day everyday life
Just a thought - isn’t it better to cut a bit of timber, now, and still enjoy a quality life. Rather than a visit to the doctors who tells you you have diabetes and must now cut out the things you like.
Imagine a life where you don’t have to give up anything. Absolutely nothing at all. Booze, McDonalds, cake, you name it. The only thing you have to master is self-control. Have a burger by all means, a beer even. Fuck it, have a slice of cheesecake afterwards. Just make sure you adjust your caloric intake or exercise to reflect your indulgence and be aware that any such cheat meals are spread.
My 30-day experiment, not yours.
By all means, jump on and create your own experiment and use my template/rules but please be aware that I am not offering fitness or nutritional advice. My body, my life, my choice.
The end goal…
I want to show people that losing weight isn’t, getting lean and staying lean isn’t difficult at all. The challenge that so many people face (me included) is a realistic understanding of input and output. Calories in and calories out. Consistency rules everything!
Without sounding like a condescending prick. We need to educate ourselves with how our body reacts and feels when certain foods or drinks are consumed. Almost everyone I have ever spoken to that finds it hard to shift unwanted weight and concentrate on important tasks, haven’t gone more than a day without consuming sugar in some way shape or form
Sugar is the enemy
On a final note without wanting to segway into the rabbit hole of the devil’s poison -AKA sugar. For most people going 30-days without alcohol fills them with dread and fear.
It’s not the alcohol that’s addictive, its the sugar. Simply replace the beer or glass of wine with a cake and he craving goes away pretty quickly.
